Mentor Interview

Hello everyone! Your friendly neighborhood Spid- I mean, Kaitlyn here. :D

Today I interviewed my mentor, Ms. Lowy, about 

certain questions about Jennyfer and I's project.

here's the paper I wrote on for reference. :o

The questions I asked are in bold, whist her answers are normal.

Why do you think community service is important?

I think that it's important to give back to your community, and it's easy to forget to give back.

What have you learned from your involvement in community service?

I learned that I can work on my own projects, not necessarily in an organized way. I like to basically find a need, and then fill it.

Why is this cause or issue important to you, 

and how did you become involved with it?

My mom had cancer, and she has been in remission for a long time. The cancer society does a lot of research for cancer patients.

What expertise/assistance are you able to offer to 

help make my capstone successful?

I can make anything. I have supplies in my classroom, and I'm willing to help.

How will my involvement with this cause or issue help in my 

journey of becoming a lifelong learner?

I think that it'll give you an opportunity to "donate your skills" to others.
